AHS Gridiron Club Family Picnic

Time: 7-10 pm
Allegany Gridiron Club is having a family picnic for AHS Football players and their families. This year included will be the AHS Cheerleaders and their families. We will be serving hamburgers/ hot dogs/ watermelon/ chips and sodas. Please mark this down on your calendar!
TRI STATE YOUTH FOOTBALL CAMP
ALLEGANY GRIDIRON and the AHS COACHING STAFF would like to thank all the participants of the 2009 Football Camp with an extra big thank you to Jeannette DeStefano! It was a big success and alot of fun for everyone. Please come back to see us next year....
NEW SPIRIT NIGHT DATES
Allegany Gridiron will hold a spirit night at Ci Ci's in LaVale on April 9th, 2009. For every person that comes to Ci Ci's that evening from 4:00 to 8:00, Ci Ci's will donate profits to the Gridiron Club. You must tell them at the register that you are here for Allegany Gridiron.
Don't make Mom cook again!
Take her to dinner and help out the Gridiron Club!

Thanks to all that attended the 1st spirit night at CiCi's in March! The profits were not as much as expected, but very much appreciated....we made $44.00 for the evening. It was a busy night for AHS with Basketball play-offs, and baseball starting, soooo we profited, Allegany Basketball advanced to the next game and baseball is getting ready for a great season. Way to go ALCO!
April 9th Spirit night was a bust at only $9.00 for the Gridiron! We appreciate the supporters who attended, but need everyones attendance. Please don't forget to tell them you are with Allegany Football! If you don't.... we will not get credit for the purchase. We have another chance to make big on the CiCi's spirit night on May 5th!!! Soooo.......we will see you there!
May 5th Spirit Night was a success! We have collected $60.00 from Ci Ci's and wish to thank all who attended. To date we profited $113.00 from the 3 Spirit nights. Not bad for going out to eat! We have none scheduled at this time, but will post when we do.
MARYLAND PICK 3 LOTTERY........September
Tickets for the lottery will be sold in August for the last of the season Lottery Drawing. Purchase a ticket for $5.00 and you will have 30 days in which to win $50.00 in cash. All numbers correspond to the Maryland Pick 3 numbers drawn every evening by the State of Maryland. If your number is drawn more than once, then you win each time. When your number is drawn, then sit back and wait for the check to roll in. It's that easy! A check from Allegany Gridiron will be sent to you within a week.

600 WINS
2009 will be a fantastic year for Allegany Football! We have only 7 games to win before we reach 600 games!!! That my friends is the most documented number of wins in the entire State of Maryland. So get ready for an exciting season!
We are in the planning stages of having a celebration on the Cumberland Town Mall. If all goes as planned it will be in September 2009 with food, fun, and Allegany Football Players from every year as guests.
So if you have a brother, uncle, father, nephew, friend or neighbor that played Allegany Football.........let them know that we need them to mark this 600th win celebration. Every man that played on our teams from 1926 until 2009 have made this celebration a reality. Now, it is their turn to be recognized for having that ALCO spirit and the drive to win 600 games.
