8 th ANNUAL BIG BLUE GOLF TOURNAMENT

The 8th annual Big Blue Gold Classic was held July 18, at the Fore Sisters Golf Course. It was a beautiful day for the event, we hosted 17 teams and had numerous businesses that sponsored signs for the greens and tee's. Many more donated door prizes for our golfers. We had a great buffet meal following the golf and would like to thank Fore Sisters, and the numerous businesses for their support.
Mark you calendar for July 17, 2009 for the 9th Annual Big Blue Golf Classic where the Gridiron has new ideas to make this event even greater!

This will take place September 11, 2009 on the Downtown Cumberland Mall from 5 - 10 pm. There will be beer & wine, food, fun, plenty of Allegany Spirit, and the biggest reunion of all the young men that made Allegany Football what it is today. Did I forget to mention...........music? The 'Chinese Bandits' are going to be there!!! Did that help seal the deal? We hope so.......because since 1926 our teams have led us to 8 State Titles, 600 wins and numerous Regional Championships, and we are long overdue in honoring and celebrating these achievements!
